lidiya ryan

Lidiya Ryan grew up in Haverhill, Massachusetts. May of 2016, she received a BFA in Film and Media Production from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She now does film work in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lidiya's main focus is framing with intent and paying attention to mise-en-scène. 

Other than cinematography, she spends most of her free time making collages and helping friends with film projects. One that sticks out to her the most is when she puppeteered for a friend's short film. Occasionally, she does photography work, and in the summer of 2025, she published her first zine, "NYC, What does punk mean?" Lidiya interviewed punks on the streets of NYC about the meaning of the punk subculture.
